Mitchell Song, DVM

Staff veterinarian Mitchell Song has nearly 20 years experience in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Mitchell Song is one of the country's leaders in veterinary medicine. In the specialty of dermatology and as a board certified veterinary dermatologist,  Dr. Song is a consultant for the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and Veterinary Information Network. He has lectured extensively at state, local, national and international veterinary meetings in the United States and Europe. He was recently a delegate from the United States at the 5th World Congress on Veterinary Dermatology in Vienna. Dr. Mitchell Song has written many scientific articles for veterinary journals and has been an editor for several publications. Currently, Dr. Song is also a consultant for many major pharmaceutical companies. Prior to his duties at the Animal Dermatology Service, Dr. Song served in the US Army Veterinary Corps and was decorated for his service at home and in southeast Asia.
