Professional Services

Because our quality control standards are high, our veterinary medical care is among the best in the country. Our goal is to always deliver the finest quality in the diagnosis and treatment of animal with diseases of the skin. We are proud to serve the people of Arizona and the greater Phoenix area.

Allergy (Atopic dermatitis, Atopy, Food allergy):

We provide diagnosis and treatment for animals with allergic skin disease.  This includes; intradermal (scratch) skin testing, ELISA (blood) testing and immunotherapy (allergy shots). We also use a full array of treatments without the use of steroids.

Ear Disease (Otitis externa):

We are equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for animals with extensive ear disease. Including chronic infections, crusting and splitting of the pinna (ear flap), and aural pruritus (itchy ears).

Auto-Immune and Immune-Mediated Disease (Lupus, Pemphigus):

We provide extensive knowledge and training in the diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of these uncommon diseases. Because we are a specialty practice, we are able to recognize and treat these problems quickly and efficiently.

Infectious and Contagious Skin Disease (Pyoderma, Dermatophyosis/Ringworm):

We provide expert knowledge and skill in the diagnosis and treatment of cases of chronic and difficult to treat bacterial skin infections (pyoderma) and fungal skin disease (ringworm). We have extensive experience in dealing with catteries.

Hormonal (Endocrine) Diseases of the Skin and Hair:

We provide services for the diagnosis, treatment and management of cases involving hypothroidism, canine Cushing's disease and sex hormone related dermatoses. Previously undiagnosed causes of hair loss are our specialty.

Skin Cancer:

In partnership with veterinary surgeons and oncologists, we work in the diagnosis and treatment of this often devastating group of diseases in animals. We provide cryosurgery and chemotherapy in cases involving the skin.
